I've eliminated plenty of substances from my life over the years, and you are right...doing so sucks. But it never sucks near as much as the alternative, so I keep choosing to stay away from whatever vexes me. May we continue to choose well.
My musing on having spent the last year drinking: it sucks. At the risk of getting sappy and a bit gay here, I respect the hell out of you, Ben Roy (as if you didn't know). I'm real happy for you and for achieving this accomplishment. I'm shit at wording things, but yeah, if you were still drinking like mad I'm guessing you wouldn't be where you're at right now, so from my own selfish standpoint, continue to be miserable and doing the good shit you do that keeps us all coming back for more.
Yeah, it's not as fun, but maybe keeps ya out of trouble?
